The Shiznit
The Shiznit is a free, full colour pocket sized comic magazine which aims to kickstart an indigenous comics industry. It's mainly available throughout Dublin City Centre and with a few outlets in Cork, Galway and Belfast.
If you've picked it up or read it, please send us feedback and whereabouts you got it. Without knowing what people like or hate it'll just stagnate.
Where can I get it?
There's loads of places that stock it around Dublin but there's no definitive list yet. Crow Corner Comics in Dublin is a our main depot so you'll always get it there.
Submissions
The Shiznit's success depends on contributions/submissions from artists and writers so if you have something that you think may suit, send it on. Email bob low res samples to me or email me for postal details.
Advertisers
The whole thing is funded by ad revenue. We offer unbeatable ad rates, we put other mags to shame even though our circulation already exceeds some well established publications. To receive our current rate card please email me with 'ad rates' in the subject line.
Get involved
We need help in distribution, promotion and ad sales. If you want to distribute The Shiznit in your area mail me. To move forward and make it profitable so that we can pay contributors we need help in business development and ad sales, mail me if you're man enough.
